There was obviously a lot of thought and planning put into this, and the raw emotion of the piece comes through even stronger because of it.

There's a lot of Spidey vs Green Goblin fan art on the web, but this is unique in its specific purpose. This isn't the never-ending battle between them, the thrill of seeing two costumed meta-humans (DC's term, I know) duking it out. This is the whole twisted relationship summed up in one moment -- THE moment, to many.
Technique
This piece isn't technical by any means, but it's cleanly drawn, and the perspective and proportions are solid. I would love to see marvelnerd87 do a full comic, since I'm a sucker for Timm-style art.
Impact
Everything I could say here has already been stated above, except that this piece is much more than the sum of its parts. Five stars!
